Boring is as Boring does.
June 12, 2006
The wedding scrapbook is almost complete, and I’m 95% happy with it. There are, as always, some pages I’m not completely happy with, and then there are others that are really great (in my opinion). I’m just happy to have all the photos on the pages. The journaling isn’t nearly complete, but I need the hubby’s help with that. There is no way I will remember all of his Mom’s brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. His mom is one of nine kids. Yeah. Not gonna happen.
We will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary on June 25. One year has already past. It’s crazy. Since we have been married, we have lived in three places, in three different states. We don’t plan on moving again anytime soon, but our lease is up in December, and if the apartment complex gets sold (as it is rumored to be), we may have to lose or pay even higher rates. But we have been told by an employee in the office that they have heard nothing of being sold, so it’s just a waiting game. I kind of like it here, so I hope there is no big move waiting for us in the middle of December.
I’m pretty boring these days. I’ve been knitting and scrapbooking and reading and working. I’ve been doing a lot of cooking lately, too, but that’s just because the hubby is home from training now. He was away on training for nine weeks for his job, for all of you who don’t know. Sorry I didn’t update you all sooner, but when I was at my parents’ place those last three weeks, the Internet was a wee bit slow (that’s the understatement of the century) due to their location in the country, and I wasn’t about to wait 45 minutes for blogger to load. You see my reasoning. Before then, I was working like a fiend, and only took time to sleep and eat and talk to the hubby on the phone.
Blah, blah, blah.
Told you I was boring.
